Report
The Report page allows users to select specific case groups to create tables and generate various charts based on that data.
Bridgify Products
The 'More' page showcases all Bridgify products, offering current users a comprehensive view of our services and presenting an excellent opportunity for upselling."
CONTEXT
About Bridgify: From Internal Systems to SaaS
Strategic Evolution
In 2022, Bridge Legal dramatically expanded, growing its team from 40 to over 100 and increasing the product team from 8 to 22. This growth accompanied a strategic shift from a case management focus to a broader, holistic legal tech approach, embracing a SaaS model to enhance flexibility and scalability in its solutions.
Case Management System
Bridge Legal's original internal case management system streamlined data organization and call center operations for client intake.
We started our revolution with this platform, evolving from our original case management system to a more advanced and strategic operational approach.
Problem
Limited in addressing the diverse, evolving needs of legal tech beyond basic case management.
For limited Needs
1Our platform is exclusively for use by vendors and co-counsels that with minimal tech requirements.
2In the big litigation finance eco-system, our focus was solely on case management and intake.
Opportunities
1Our platform also addresses funders and law firms, capturing a wider market in the litigation finance ecosystem.
2We're developing new features to meet the broader needs of our diverse user base in the litigation finance ecosystem.
FINDING
Researched through client interviews and testing
1. Target User Groups
1One group of users relies on Excel for workflow management, finding it time-consuming and overwhelming.
2Another group of users use Salesforce's legal CRM system, finding it over-engineered and excessively complex for their needs
2. Dashboard is The Key
In the complex field of litigation finance, clients need a straightforward way to oversee their portfolios and cases. Dashboards have become essential, offering a clear, comprehensive view that simplifies tracking and decision-making in this intricate industry.
3. Clients Value Simplicity
Our clients, primarily over 55 and from the legal sector, are not typically tech-savvy and greatly value simplicity in technology, preferring our platform's straightforward, intuitive design that caters to their non-tech-savvy needs.

Pinpointing Design Areas
Before initiating our redesign process, we thoroughly considered our research insights, focusing on usability and heuristic issues. This step guiding our redesign efforts to specifically target aspects that would most enhance user experience and system efficiency.
1For some user groups, the top navigation bar, overloaded with more than 11 tabs, becomes unscalable and cluttered.
Diverse user groups each have unique top navigation bars tailored to their needs, creating a rigid, inflexible system that adds technical complexity.
2Our system's UI mainly uses large boxes for content, leading to inflexibility and lower data density on each page
3Our system had a limited navigation structure with only two levels, resulting in poor navigability and user experience.
4The overall design style of our system is outdated, with a color scheme that doesn't align with our current branding colors.
SOLUTION 1
New UI and New Navigation System

From Case Management to Litigation Finance Platform
Before - Case Management Focus
There are 3 tabs in our system primarily showcasing the case database. This is beneficial for case management clients but are less effective for others.
After - Holistic Platform
1Rearranged the navigation bar sequence to better suit holistic usage, optimizing user experience across different functionalities.
2consolidated three tabs into one, simplifying it for users with limited domain knowledge for better understanding.
